I offer giclée prints of my original artwork which are outsourced to a professional printer that uses high-quality archival substrates for longevity that meet or exceed giclée standards. In addition to the sale of giclées, I offer children's books which I write and illustrate. Please visit the "Gallery" and "Books" pages.
Giclée - pronounced /ZHēˈklā / is a high-quality reproduction of artwork printed on archival substrates for longevity. Below is a list of the three substrates I use.
Luster – Luster paper
Watercolor paper – Textured paper
Canvas - All canvas giclées have 2 inch mirrored borders plus an additional 1 inch white border and are offered unstretched (print only) or stretched.
I am happy to stretch your canvas upon request. I use 1.5” stretcher bars. The giclée is coated with a UV varnish that helps to protect the surface from scratches, moisture and fading due to exposure to UV light. Hanging hardware is included. Free shipping is not available as shipping costs vary due to size and weight. Please contact me for this additional service and cost.

ART TERM DESCRIPTIONS:
CANVAS: Unstretched vs Stretched
Unstretched - a print only,
Stretched - The print is wrapped on stretcher bars and ready to hang. (Due to the varying size and weight free shipping is not available as costs vary. For this reason, unless contacted otherwise, I send out canvases unstretched, which you can either stretch yourself or take to your local framer and have stretched).
A Canvas print mirror borders also called mirrored edges, wrap the parts of the image closest to the edge over the sides of the canvas in a mirror image. With mirrored edges, you do not lose any of the front facing painting.
Stretcher bars are the connecting wood bars that create the frame that a canvas is wrapped around.
A watermark is a transparent image or text that has been applied to another image to protect the original image, or to make it harder to copy the item.
My watermark - "© kellyehrmann" will NOT appear on your giclée.
